this is a composition i made in 2023 called "implicit distance." i arrived at this distinct sonic aesthetic by overlaying sketches i made on a synthesizer and i manipulated them through different warping algorithms. when an audio clip is stretched to its limit, the warping algorithm fills in the space by interpolating between each audio sample. similarly, the visuals accompanying this piece were created with styleGAN, a neural network interpolating through a dataset of images from my life. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so9tbVi-ypM
