this is my ideal museum. during my graduate degree at art school, some of the most formative learning experiences during my time there were not in the classrooms, but were actually at the art museum that was connected to the school. I remember standing in front of 17th century engravings, scratching my head, trying to figure out for the life of me how those artists achieved that specific level of technique during that time (goeltzius is a favorite).
this museum contains over 6000 images that i've encountered in my life. every single image that you come across at some point in time has captivated me to save it into my downloads folder. the goal is for this museum to reach people living in parts of the world that may not have access to world class art museums.
i believe that one of the most important goals in my life is to provoke an aesthetic moment in as many peoples lives as possible, and this museum is one way of me trying to do that. there is no ticket or admission but donations are graciously accepted at https://strauh.al/donate_support
